
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup
sattu maavu
- 1/2 cup nut butter (such as almond or peanut butter)
- 1/4 cup jaggery or honey or sugar
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or cashews)
- 1/4 cup dried fruit (such as raisins, dates, or apricots), chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, dry roast the Sprouted sattu maavu for 3 mins on low heat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the roasted sprouted sattu maavu, nut butter, jaggery or honey or sugar, shredded coconut, chopped nuts, dried fruit, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined and form a sticky dough.
- Using your hands, roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the energy balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Once firm, transfer the energy balls to an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator for up to one week.
