Ingredients:
- 1 cup
sattu maavu - 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/2 cup milk (or plant-based milk for a vegan option)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Butter or oil for cooking
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sprouted sattu maavu, mashed banana, milk, honey or maple
syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth. - Add the baking powder and a pinch of salt to the batter and mix until evenly incorporated.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
- Pour a ladleful of batter onto the skillet and spread it out into a round shape.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 2-3
minutes until golden brown and cooked through. - Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter or oil to the skillet as needed.
- Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings such as fresh fruit, yogurt, or maple syrup.
