Ingredients:
- 20gms of
sattu maavu - 1 cup milk of your choice
- 2 tablespoon of sweetner like jaggery, honey or sugar (optional)
- Pinch of Salt
- Toppings of your choice (such as sliced bananas, berries, nuts, seeds, or dried fruit)
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine the sprouted sattu maavu and milk.
- Cook over low heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency. Let it cook for minimum 4-5 mins.
- If desired, sweeten the porridge with natural jaggery or honey or sugar.
- Once the porridge is cooked, remove it from the heat and transfer it to serving bowls.
- Top the porridge with your favorite toppings such as sliced bananas, berries, nuts, seeds, or dried fruit.
- Serve the sprouted sattu maavu porridge warm and enjoy a nourishing and comforting breakfast or snack option.
- For infants, starting solid foods, you can skip the sweetner or salt.
