Welcome to Sproutifi

Ingredients:

  • 20gms of sattu maavu
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 2 tablespoon of sweetner like jaggery, honey or sugar (optional)
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Toppings of your choice (such as sliced bananas, berries, nuts, seeds, or dried fruit)


Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine the sprouted sattu maavu and milk.
  2. Cook over low heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency. Let it cook for minimum 4-5 mins.
  3. If desired, sweeten the porridge with natural jaggery or honey or sugar.
  4. Once the porridge is cooked, remove it from the heat and transfer it to serving bowls.
  5. Top the porridge with your favorite toppings such as sliced bananas, berries, nuts, seeds, or dried fruit.
  6. Serve the sprouted sattu maavu porridge warm and enjoy a nourishing and comforting breakfast or snack option.
  7. For infants, starting solid foods, you can skip the sweetner or salt.
