Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sprouted sattu maavu
  • 1 tablespoon ghee or oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green chilies (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup chopped vegetables (such as carrots, peas, bell peppers)
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish


Instructions:

  1. Heat ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onion, green chilies, and chopped vegetables. Sauté until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in the sprouted sattu maavu, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well to combine.
  4. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sprouted sattu maavu is heated through.
  5. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and serve hot as a nutritious and flavorful breakfast or snack option.
